Personal Favorites

These are some of the favorites, chosen by myself, my peers and the publications that have printed my work. My portfolio is constantly evolving with photos from my adventures and from weddings and portrait shoots from near and far. Whether it be a sunrise over Greenbluff, a the balloon rally at Prosser, a sunset in Arches National Park or a beautiful backyard wedding right here at home in Spokane these are the photos that define me.Every time I look at this album I am back in the moment, taking an adventure all over again. I’m on top of a mountain or listening to the surf break on the rocks of the Oregon Coast or I’m watching a beautiful bride on the most memorable day of her life walking down the aisle and into the beginning of a new chapter in her life.

This feeling of being able to relive the moments that define me as a photographer is a marvelous feeling that I hope to be able to share with you when you look back at the memories that I preserve for you.

Urban Graffiti Wedding – Downtown Spokane

Megan and Quinton’s urban graffiti wedding photos turned out fantastic! We started the day in the brick courtyard behind the Spokane Parkade where they had their “first look” and then we moved to the upper floors of the Parkade for bridal party and posed portraits. I love doing pre-ceremony portraits and unveiling photos, especially in unique locations.

From the Parkade we drove over to the Spokane skate park where we took advantage of the artistic urban graffiti for the bride and groom posed photos. The backdrop was great and everything fit the urban theme, right down to the sheet music paper flowers and brightly colored sneakers of the wedding party. We even had a local BMXer jump over the bride and groom in one of the skate park photos.

After the pre-ceremony wedding party photos we drove back to La Belle Vie in Spokane Valley for the ceremony, reception, and an overall amazing time! Congratulations again to the Aikmans!

Aimee & Derek – Spokane Winter Wedding

Aimee and Derek are one of those couples that everyone strives to be like. They are best friends and have a close knit group of friends who made up their wedding party. The wedding party had already known each other for years so this winter wedding had great energy.

When we first met they described what they wanted their Spokane Valley wedding to be like. They said they wanted a short ceremony, a fun party and lots of fun photos. They easily accomplished just that! From the sparkly shoes and unique unveiling to the disco ball on the dance floor of La Belle Vie this wedding was all about celebrating bringing their families together and having a good time!
